About Patrice

Patrice Flagle is a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing individual, couple and family therapy for over 30 years. She is a life-long practitioner of yoga and meditation, having studied in India in 1985 and 1989. Patrice utilizes a holistic, integrative approach including Solution Focused Therapy; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; DBT; TF-CBT; Mindfulness; Meditation; Yoga Therapy; and Gottman strategies. Areas of specialty include relationship issues of communication, intimacy and mediation, as well as working with individuals with anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, autism spectrum disorder, mood dysregulation, attention issues, trauma, bipolar disorder, stress management, women’s issues, and grief and loss. Life and wellness coaching are also provided for support during life’s transitions, as well as in goal setting. 

In addition to her private practice, Patrice has developed innovative programs supporting individuals and families with severe trauma and emotional issues. For many years, she has been a guest speaker at national conferences regarding mental health issues and families. Over the years, Patrice has also trained other mental health professionals in therapeutic interventions, including trauma and family dynamics. 

Patrice earned her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree in 1985; her Doctor of Naturopathy degree (ND) in 2003; Divorce Mediation certificate in 2004; Meditation Teacher certification in 1992; and Yoga Teacher certification in 2014 (YTT 500). Additional certifications include Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT; the Gottman Method for couples, and others. 

Personally, Patrice’s life experience as a mother, grandmother and wife add an element of “realism, compassion, authenticity, and humor” in her sessions.
